Lampa is a book reader for iPhone, iPad, Windows, macOS and Linux, made by Vladimir Zelinskyi, an individual developer. This page explains what data Lampa handles and where it goes. Lampa has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and your data is never sold.

Without an account

Your books, reading positions, bookmarks, notes, reading lists and settings are stored only on your device. Nothing is sent to us.

With an account (optional)

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password to keep your library the same on all your devices. Accounts and synced data are stored with Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). We store:

Only you can read this data: the database lets each account access only its own records and files. Interface settings such as theme and font are not synced.

Online features

Some features send a small amount of data to other services, which receive your IP address as part of any internet request:

Deleting your data

Delete your account in the app: Settings → Sync → Delete account. This immediately deletes your account, all synced records and the book files stored in the cloud. Books and notes on your device stay until you remove them or uninstall the app. You can also ask us to delete your account by email.

Children

Lampa is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
